I create web pages for small businesses. Businesses like yours.
Everyone will tell you that you need a website for your business.
Why? Because that’s where your customers go to find everything from laundromats to pediatricians. I’ll tell you you need a website, but then I’m in the business of helping you do that, so you’ll want to ask around.
I understand that small business owners need a website that works as hard for their business as they do. Your website is more than a vanity item or something to check off of a to-do list. It needs to bring in customers and help you make money.
I also understand that you are very good at your business and work hard to please your customers. You don’t want to be a web designer. That’s where I come in.
I love designing websites. I’ve been designing web pages since 1997. I got my start in web design creating web pages for my business group when I worked at Intel (the computer chip company, not the government agency listening in on your phone calls). I also discovered that working in html and css is fun! That’s right, I said fun.
What can I say? I’m a geek. I watch binge watch Star Trek and Doctor Who, play video games (I bought an Xbox 360 just to play Oblivion), and have read every Isaac Asimov book I could find. Some people knit, I write web code.
Ok, I knit a little, too. But, mostly I crochet and I will continue to do so just to mock all of my knitty friends.
Why go on like this? Well, in 2010, I began helping friends get their businesses on the web, created new websites for them, updated their old web pages, and fixed code errors. I provided advice on where to find the best deals and how to avoid getting ripped off. They began urging me to use my geek powers to help other people. People who aren’t my friends, yet. (follow me on Twitter or Facebook if you want to be my friend).
So with that, I decided to launch Pint Sized Sites. I picked the name because,
- At 5 feet 0 inches tall, I’m “pint sized” myself.
- I’m out to help small, pint sized, businesses get a website that puts them on level ground with their big competitors.
I’m on a mission
to provide effective, affordable, attractive, professional websites for small businesses. Provide information, products, and tutorials that teach them how to use the internet to find, retain, and knock the socks off their customers.
I have a vision
that every small business has a website that is an asset to their business. That every small business has access to the same customers as their bigger competitors. A level playing field for everyone.
